How I Can Help

Individual, Couple, & Family Therapy

The quality of your relationships is critical to your mental and physical health. Using my training in systems theory and positive psychology, I work to improve Relational Health – or the health of your relationships through family, or couple sessions, or with individuals looking to break negative intergenerational patterns and engage in healthy, positive relationships moving forward. Individuals with strong relationships tend to live longer. And, having a healthy relationship enables you to more effectively cope with stress. I have over a decade of experience working to improve relationships and social connection as a crucial step towards overall better mental health and well-being.

Parenting and Parental Mental Health

What does it mean to you to be a good enough parent?

With the many directions parents are pulled in these days, it may be hard to feel confident you’re bringing the best of yourself to your parenting relationship. Whether through therapy or health and wellness coaching, I’m committed to helping busy parents find real, meaningful ways to improve themselves so they can show up for their kids and appreciate watching them grow. I believe parenting is the most important job you’ll ever have. Let’s figure out how to make sure you are making the most of it.

Perinatal Mental Health

“Perhaps it takes courage to raise children.” –
John Steinbeck, author

The journey into parenthood is a profound experience, but it’s also a period of tremendous change—emotionally, physically, and relationally. I offer compassionate therapy services for new and expecting moms and dads.

Adjusting to a new identity as a parent, navigating changes in your body, and managing shifts in your relationships can feel overwhelming. During this time, it’s common to experience a wide range of emotions. Therapy can help.

I’ve completed training with Postpartum Support International in perinatal mental health to support my work with pregnant and postpartum clients.

Whole Person Mental Health

You are a Whole Person – so let’s talk about all those pieces.

A “Whole Person Approach” is about taking into consideration a person’s physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.

I am a certified Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and with this training, I use the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine as my guideposts: physical activity, nutrition, stress management, sleep, social connection, and avoiding risky substances.

Intergenerational Work

We’re likely to repeat what’s been modeled for us, unless we seek new information.

Intergenerational therapy work addresses family patterns through individual sessions or in family sessions. This work is especially valuable for families and individuals seeking to create a positive legacy, where future generations feel connected, supported, and empowered.

By addressing these patterns, you can release old resentments and clarify needs. For many, this process offers a path toward healing and growth, as well as a foundation for healthier relationships moving forward.
